DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage our infrastructure and ensure the smooth deployment, scaling, and maintenance of multiple environments on Microsoft Azure. Our system is built on a microservice architecture using Python and Java (Spring Boot and Flask). You will manage both stateless and stateful services and work with a variety of databases, including MySQL, Neo4J, and Elasticsearch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, containerization, and cloud management. Additionally, experience with deploying and managing Large Language Models (LLMs) will be considered a significant plus.

Responsibilities:

AZURE ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT:
Design, deploy, and maintain multiple environments (Dev, Staging, Production) on Microsoft Azure.
Manage Azure services like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, and Networking.
MICROSERVICE ARCHITECTURE SUPPORT:
Deploy, scale, and manage microservices using Python Flask and Java Spring Boot.
Implement, monitor, and maintain both stateless and stateful microservices.
CI/CD PIPELINE DEVELOPMENT:
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of microservices using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
Implement zero-downtime deployment strategies and manage rolling updates and rollback mechanisms.
INFRASTRUCTURE AS CODE (IAC) & AUTOMATION:
Leverage Terraform, Ansible, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
Maintain scalable infrastructure using container orchestration (Kubernetes) and containerization (Docker).
DATABASE MANAGEMENT:
Ensure the smooth operation and high availability of MySQL, Neo4J, and Elasticsearch.
Automate backup, recovery, scaling, and performance optimization for database services.
MONITORING AND PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION:
Implement monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Azure Monitor for both microservices and databases.
Set up proactive alerts for key system metrics and log analysis to ensure system reliability.
Performance tuning and resource management to ensure optimal system utilization.
SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE:
Implement security best practices for Azure infrastructure, including secure access control, authentication, encryption, and vulnerability scanning.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies.
LLM DEPLOYMENT & MAINTENANCE (BONUS):
Deploy, monitor, and maintain Large Language Models (LLMs) in production environments.
Optimize resource allocation for LLMs to ensure cost efficiency and scalability.
Monitor LLM performance and latency, and establish resource thresholds for smooth operation.
Implement auto-scaling strategies to adjust infrastructure based on LLM workload demand.

Requirements:

Experience with Microsoft Azure:
Proven experience managing infrastructure and services on Azure, including AKS, Azure VMs, Load Balancers, and Networking.
Microservice Deployment:
Hands-on experience with deploying and managing microservices, particularly with Java (Spring Boot) and Python (Flask).
CI/CD and Automation:
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Ability to develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates.
Containerization & Orchestration:
Experience in containerizing applications using Docker and orchestrating containers with Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
Database Management:
Solid understanding of database administration with MySQL, Neo4J, and Elasticsearch, including performance optimization, replication, and backup strategies.
MONITORING AND PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION:
Monitoring & Observability:
Proven experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Azure Monitor to ensure system health.
Security Best Practices:
Strong knowledge of securing cloud infrastructure, setting up secure access, and applying security patches.
LLM Deployment (Bonus):
Experience deploying and maintaining Large Language Models (LLMs) in production environments.
Knowledge of optimizing LLM resource usage and monitoring their performance.
