Responsibilities:

LLM Integration and Enhancement: Work with large language models (LLMs) to improve and expand functionalities within the Exafy ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
LLM Operations (LLM Ops): Manage the deployment, monitoring, and optimization of LLM models to ensure reliable, scalable performance in production environments.
Model Training and Fine-Tuning: Train custom machine learning models and fine-tune existing models to meet project-specific requirements, improving performance and accuracy.
Research and Experimentation: Collaborate with the AI team on cutting-edge AI features, participate in the design and testing of experimental AI-driven solutions, and implement innovative approaches.
Python Backend Development: Implement AI and machine learning solutions as scalable web services, ensuring compatibility with Exafy’s existing architecture. Adhere to established rules and principles to maintain consistency, security, and performance across the system.Shape

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Python: Strong experience in Python, with a focus on developing scalable backend solutions and web services.
Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs): Hands-on experience working with LLMs, including integration, fine-tuning, and optimizing their performance in production environments.
Machine Learning Model Development: Proficiency in training custom machine learning models, as well as fine-tuning existing models to improve performance and adapt to specific use cases.
Familiarity with AI Operations (LLM Ops): Experience in deploying, monitoring, and managing AI models in production, ensuring reliable and scalable operations.
Backend Web Service Development: Knowledge of building and maintaining backend services using Python, with experience integrating machine learning models as web services within existing architectures.
Prompt Engineering: Expertise in designing, testing, and optimizing prompts for LLMs, ensuring the effective generation of desired outputs. Familiarity with best practices and design patterns for prompt engineering to enhance AI behavior and performance.
Software Design Patterns: Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices, particularly for AI-driven solutions. Experience implementing design patterns that promote modularity, scalability, and maintainability in AI systems.
Problem-Solving and Innovation: Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with a passion for experimenting with new approaches to improve AI solutions and innovate within the Exafy ecosystem.
Collaboration and Communication Skills: Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams, including collaborating with AI researchers, data scientists, software developers, and product managers.

Bonus Skills:

Python for Web Development: Experience with Python (Flask, Django, or other web frameworks) will be a significant plus.
NoSQL Database Experience: Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Elasticsearch.
Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Preferred Skills:

Python with Flask: Experience in building robust web applications and APIs using Flask, with a focus on scalable and maintainable code.
REST/gRPC: Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, as well as familiarity with gRPC for efficient, low-latency communication between services.
WebSockets: Experience in implementing real-time communication using WebSockets, particularly in AI-driven applications where dynamic data exchange is critical.
Microservices Architecture: Knowledge of building and maintaining microservices-based architectures, ensuring interoperability and scalability of components.
Vector Databases: Experience with vector databases like Pinecone, Milvus, or Weaviate for storing and querying vectorized data used in AI/ML models.
Graph Databases: Knowledge of graph databases such as Neo4j or Amazon Neptune, with experience modeling complex relationships between entities.
Familiarity with NLP and Computer Vision: Basic understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision techniques, with experience in applying them to real-world AI use cases.
Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD): Strong testing mindset, with experience in writing unit tests, integration tests, and adhering to Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
